The tree is up, but alas, still no ornaments!
Not that I don't have any, I have hundreds ... I just need to put them on.
Nearly all of my ornaments were gifts, or were handmade, by me or my grandma.
I love remembering each ornament and what or who it signifies.
Even my tree was a gift from my sister. It's even pre-lit!
And I bet you're wondering why I haven't decorated the thing yet!
I'll get there! Speaking of trees...
I've been busy creating some cute Christmas kits for you!

'Tis the holiday season!!

I love the holidays.
I get to see my immediate family quite often, but we still enjoy the special time spent together during special holidays.
Even as our family grows, we spend time with fewer people because they've gone and grown and have families of their own.
My boys are teenagers, so of course want to spend lots of time with friends instead of at home with mom. But they have to be around for holidays!
This time of year always makes me miss my grandma lots. She was AWESOME!
So that makes me thing of Christmases gone by ... and that inspired my latest release.
Vintage Christmas is now in the Brownie Scraps store and is 25% off today only.

I have lots going on, how about you?
Our Thanksgiving was quiet and very nice. It was the first time in 9 years that I didn't host the family! We still visited and had a great time.
Which means Christmas is going to be here soon.

Flower, Ribbons & Strings - Oh My!

Welcome to the First Digi Scrap Connect Blog Train.
This blog train is comprised of some fabulous designers who have been
participating in the Design Factor Challenge the last 5 weeks.
For our 5th challenge, we were required to make an element pack using CU items.
Since 1/2 of the items for all the kits would be coming from the Scrap Matters
great challenge freebies, we were worried that we were going to have flowers,
ribbons and strings coming out our ears with this challenge :).
We decided to have fun with it and turn it into a great Blog  Train by adding
some fabulous papers as well.

Minitopia is back! Last year's Minitopia was one of our favorite Brownie events and we are so excited to bring it back!

With your $5 Minitopia ticket, you will receive the 3 mini kits that you will need to compete in the 3 Minitopia Challenges. You will also receive an alias to use during the event, which keeps the voting completely fair, and you'll be trying to figure out who is who!

By participating, you will be eligible for prizes, with weekly winners and a grand prize winner!
